Lampert, Kenneth R. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Great-Uncle, Dear Friend Age 83 of White Bear Lake. Peacefully left this life to be with our Lord, surrounded by loving family, on December 10, 2008. Survived by loving and dedicated wife, Rita (nee Bjorklund), devoted daughter, Marilee (Christopher) Sager, granddaughter, Sarah Jean Christopherson, Ken and Rita's best friends- sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Marianne & Tom Sager, twin brother, Arthur (LouAnn), brother, Leonard, nephew, Tom (Angela) Sager and their daughters, Margaret, Ann, Mary Claire and Kate, niece, Lynn Sager and her sons, Frank and Henry Marek, niece, Cathy (Kenneth) Sager, niece, Angela (Steve) Walker and their son, Jackson, nephew, Bert Sager, niece, Debbie (Joe) Massa and many other relatives & dear friends. Preceded in death by loving mother-in-law, Winifred Bjorklund, father, Arthur J. Lampert, mother, Irma Lampert and sister, Eleanor Plunkett. Ken was a spiritual man who truly lived and loved life. He embraced his family with the utmost of pride, love and joy. He was the gentlest of gentleman, the kindest of kind, the most loving of love and the most generous of generous. His strength, courage, brevity and optimism was an inspiration to all. We miss him already but are grateful he is at peace and suffering no more. We know we will all be together again some day. We will never forget Ken's twinkling eyes and contagious smile. We want to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff at Cerenity Transitional Care Center of White Bear Lake and the staff from Heartland Home Care and Hospice. Celebration of Life Service Monday, December 15, 2008 at 11:00AM at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 674 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul. Visitation 9:30 AM-11:00 AM at church prior to service. Luncheon at church following service. Private Family Interment with honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 11 AM.
